Azodyl is a nutritional supplement for cats and dogs that reduces azotemia, an increased concentration of compounds that impair the kidneys' ability to filter and eliminate waste. Recommended dosage instructions
Dogs and cats weighing up to 2.3 kg (5 lb): Give 1 Azodyl capsule daily.
Dogs and cats weighing 2.3–4.5 kg (5–10 lb): Give 2 Azodyl capsules daily (1 in the AM and 1 in the PM).
Dogs and cats weighing over 4.5 kg (10 lb): Give 3 Azodyl capsules daily (2 in the AM and 1 in the PM).
Azodyl capsules should be given whole and not opened or crushed. If necessary, administer the capsule with a piece of your pet's favorite food, treat, or with a pill pocket. Keep plenty of water available for your pet to drink.
