Viokase-V powder is prescribed to supplement your pet with the enzymes that are needed if they struggle with exocrine pancreatic insufficiency, a condition where your pet's body is unable to produce enough pancreatic enzymes to digest food properly. It may also be prescribed to treat acute and chronic pancreatitis.

Speak with your veterinarian and follow your pet's prescription for specific dosing instructions for your pet. The powder is usually mixed with your pet's food. Add a small amount of warm water if mixing Viokase-V with dry food. Allow food to sit for 15-20 minutes before serving.
